View showing black on layout

I have placed a few views onto a layout, and for some reason the elevation views are showing solid black, despite the actual view having a GO applied.

Has anyone go any suggestions on why this is happening?

Check the Drawing Settings on the Layout and make sure the colours are set to "Defined by Pen Set". If you are using Black & White or Grey Scale, it may be the GO's have created this problem. I assume in the View Map the elevations look as expected?

yes everything looks fine in the view map. I tried the drawing settings in the layout and they are set to 'Defined by Pen set'.

See if your Elevation Settings > Model Appearance is using Uniform Pen Setting overrides?
