Hi!
I am having a trouble with custom made pen type. I created custom pen type for fill and every time I close the view and return to it, it is white again and the custom made pen type is gone from the fill and from the pen "Library". I can not figure it out, why is it keep on disappearing. I am using Archicad 26.
Thank You in advance
Ivi

'Custom' pen set is not good to use as it is just a temporary state as you are amending the pens.
You need to 'Store As' to and overwrite an existing pen set or create a new one.
Then you use that pen set.
The same goes for layers (and anything else that says 'Custom').
If you manually turn a layer on/off, the layer combination will say custom.
Your views will all be set with a particular pen set or layer combination.
So as soon as you activate the view, the 'Custom' pens or layers will be lost.

You will need to save the custom penset over the top of the penset you modified (or save it as new penset and assign this to your saved view.)
Custom is only a temporary modification. Once you open a view a saved penset will be applied and delete your custom penset.
hope that makes sense.

When you open a View it will load the assigned Pen Set. This is why your pens are resetting. You are editing a Pen Set and hence you would notice that your set becomes "Custom". At this point you can click on the Store As button and override the relevant Pen Set.
