Wall showing up through door

Archicad 23, Mac platform. I'm putting a door into a custom made wall profile. Sometimes it shows up okay but other times the wall shows up through the door opening. I click on the use fills buttons, but that does no good. I also made sure that the fill is solid, also does no good.

This happens in the view map. In the layout book it looks fine

Select the drawing in the layout book.
Right click and choose 'Open Source View'.
Does it look OK?
It should be exactly the same as the layout.

If it is OK then I would assume that the view you are looking at is not the one placed on the layout?

Your renovation filter is set to "Show All", that may be the problem?
Change that or maybe it is the Floor Plan Cutting Plane height? (this is also saved with the view).
It may be just below the shorter height windows?

I generally have all of my walls and windows set to 'Symbolic' floor plan display in there settings and then the FPCP height has no effect.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing this issue!

I once came across this issue a while ago. It was caused by the difference between the wall's and door's renovation settings, usually when the door has "Demolished" status, whereas the wall has "New" or "Existing" status. When you have the Renovation Filter to Show All Elements, this may make the door appear over the wall.

Let me know if this is what causes the issue!

Have a nice day!

Best regards,
Minh

Where do you find the wall, window, and door renovation settings?

Took a bit of digging, but I found out where the renovation settings are. I will give that a try.
