Walls disappearing on Layout Book

Hello - Archicad 24 on a Mac platform. Making some walls that are composites, they show up fine on the screen, but when I print them, parts of the hash patterns disappear. Nothing consistent, parts of certain walls just don't show up. Nothing is overriding them. I have no idea what's going on

Can you clarify, perhaps with a screenshot of one such wall in model view vs the drawing placed on a layout?   Does the wall fill pattern show up correctly when viewing the layout and zoomed in ... but it is only when printed that it is wrong?  Or is the issue also with the drawing as placed on the layout?
