Dimensioning of doors and windows on the entire bldg floor plan have shifted from center of object to edge of object. How do I fix this? Thanks.

Please see this thread.

It appears to be the same problem.

Do I need to keep the "Show Edible Hotspots" ON under the Marker Settings when dimensioning to the center of windows and doors?

The thread I referred to did not have any clear resolution to this issue.
I work in AC 10 but have not seen this happen. The author of
that thread mentioned dimension markers jumping around as well
though his image does not show markers. I would try posting on
that thread asking if any more information has been developed
or if a resolution has been found.

What you mentioned worked for me. Thought you'd answer my question. It's ok. I agree, there were no clear solutions.

I did not answer your question because I did not know the answer
to your question. As I said, I have not experienced this problem and
besides I do not use AC windows and Doors. So, you seem to be saying
when "show editable hotspots" is enabled the problem goes away.
Is this correct ?

That is correct. So far...

If I understand right the checkbox you are referring to is called "Show Editable Hotspots on UI" (User Interface). If you check it small red arrow will show the directions those editable hotspots can be dragged. But this setting has nothing to do with Automatic Dimensioning so you can check it or leave it unchecked.

I was surprised to find the fix to the dimensioning problem to be associated within the Marker Settings for window and door selection settings. I even unchecked the box and the dimensioning was fine. It's got me...

My guess would be that there is some hotspot ID that is taken by the marker when showing and by some other hotspot in the window/wallhole when the marker doesn't show. And that the dimension is attaching to that.
