Yes I do not think you can do that, but why would you want to?

Check the national settings and the way the thousands display is set; if you cannot get rid of the comma, replace it with a space. This is a OS setting, ArchiCAD uses it as it is set in the System preferences.

isn't this the standard way of dimensioning without the 'commas' ?

i've used 'without the commas' in my dimensions when I was working in asia pacific countries which are all in metric since 80's.....and i remember i didn't have this problem when i started with ac 4.5 then.....

since coming to canada, most countries are still using autocad and many are switching to vectorworks and their dimensions dont' have the 'commas' in the 4 digit dimensions.

i am using ac in one of my projects so to convince how versatile ac is compared to other cad programs and now i am stucked with this default 4-digit commas which appear to be quite an issue because the client wants to have consistency with other cad programs, that is, without the commas for dimensions.

djorde, i don't quite understand what you mean by using the space in between......

I just checked on my Mac and Djordje is right (of course) the system settings are used by ArchiCAD for the number format. The Mac does have an option for no separator between thousands and the display is as you wish. I assume the same is true for Windows but I don't feel like getting out my ThinkPad to check it out.

Don't have XP here at home, but should be similar to the W2K screenshot I am attaching - go to Control panel, Regional Options, Numbers.
