save printer settings for different layouts

Is there a way to assign a printer for each layout and keep the specific printing settings assigned to each layout.
We use a different printer whether it is a 11X17 or 24X36 and everytime we print we are redirected to the default printer and have to reset everything like source, paper size, colors. etc..
Thanks for your input

You'll need to set up separate Publishing Sets for each printer. To do that you'll need to set up a folder of views from your model, or a folder of layouts in your layout book and add them as shortcuts to your separate Publisher Sets.
