License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

transfer or copy/paste dimensions from one file to another

Is there a way to transfer or copy/paste the dimensions from ArchiCAD file to another? I am working in the same drawing file one is dated differently than the other but it is the same building. Is there a way to transfer or copy/ paste the dimensions from file 1 to file 2? I tried just copy paste but not all the dimension strings come...?

Working in ArchICAD V.12

You would have to make all your dimension strings "static" so they are no longer associated with any elements.
This could be a problem if you want to redesign your model as your dimensions will have to be ammended manually.

Otherwise I think you have to copy across the element the dimension is attached to as well for them to remain associated.
But then you will be doubling up your model.
