Looking for a stretcher tool

Hello,

I've made my own stretcher tool with gdl. script but this one does not suit me beecause I am not able to create a good parametric stretcher tool.
I have not found any tool like this into BIMcomponent.

Does anyone have got a stretcher-tool.gsm to share ?

Can you post your object here and tell us what modifications you need?

Like I said before I am not able to do this that is why I write this post. 😕

Hello Braza,

Sorry I had not seen your post.
Here the gsm file link : https://bit.ly/2H5qCPE

I need the object to be flexible in its rotation. It can be exclusively a 2D tool which would count within a rectangle a variable number of rectangles without any coming out of this rectangle.

I haven't finished it. But just to be sure you need something like this... At the moment only for 180 rotation (kinda for stairs)

A. Smith you are very kind but I am not able to use it into AC22 and AC23 without understanding why 😕
Did you do this gsm with AC24 ?

With AC24 I'm able to use it without possibility to save my file because I have not my AC24 Codemeter yet.
It seems to be a great answer about my request.
I thought about "purple candle" in 2D plan view to edit this object.

Awesome that is quite like I'm looking for. I'm going to try to modify it to get 90° too.
The best would be to get the possibility to modify it in plan view with a "purple candle"...
I'm a little GDL beginner so it a little bit a dream for me.

Thanks a lot about your work !

You're welcome.
Are you talking about these dots? Or you don't have them?
I don't know how to do the best so:
1. if you turn on show_worst - you'll be able to modify the left dot (candle), which can change Y direction
2. right dot - change stretcher dimensions

Thanks A. Smith,

I have got these purple dots but they deform the size of the stretchers instead of deforming the volume in which the stretchers must fit. I am looking to develop the option allowing to place these purple dots at the level of the red arrows then to allow the rotation of the stretchers at 90 ° or 180 ° (or more).

I appreciate your script which seems to be clear ! Great.
