This is more or less a report on inconsistent / missing functionality related to MEP objects.
The Model View Options section 'MEP options' provides the following options under Floor Plan Representation Mode:
- Projected
- Symbolic
This should include 'Projected with Overhead' which is available on Duct and Pipe routes
Second, under Symbolic Detail Level, we have:
- Centerline
- Centerline + Outlines
- Centerline + Outlines + Insulation
this is missing an option for Outlines Only, which is available on objects as a checkbox when settings are not taken from the System Attributes.
System Attributes does not permit any control of whether outlines appear or not, leaving users with no choice but to show centerlines if display follows system attributes.
Lastly, the options for Center Line in the MEP system brower oddly do not permit selection of any symbolic linetypes, even thought these are available in objects that don't use System Attributes. These linetypes would make a lot of sense in symbolic representations and should be enabled (and ideally be displayed in a readable direction).
