ArchiCAD User Groups in Western Canada

For a long time I've tried to get ArchiCAD user groups together in my sales territory - Western Canada and the Arctic. Face-to-Face meetings seem to be hard to keep going on a consistent and sustained basis. Perhaps the virtual world can assist.

Its a new year and so I'm trying a new tactic. I've set up group pages on Facebook and invite anyone who is interested in being part of a local user group to sign up. You can start a discussion, post examples of work, stay in touch or even announce a (gasp) pizza and beer war stories session.

The Groups I've established are:

Manitoba ArchiCAD User Group
Saskatchewan ArchiCAD User Group
Edmonton ArchiCAD User Group
Calgary ArchiCAD User Group
BC Interior ArchiCAD User Group
Vancouver ArchiCAD User Group
Vancouver Island ArchiCAD User Group

These should be searchable terms in Facebook.

I've also created a group page for the Arctic and encourage anyone reading this who resides up there to join and contribute something.

Feeling lonely here in Vancouver.

I wonder if there are active ArchiCAD User groups here ( I know there are users, I just don't know if they want to grab a #BIMBeer from time to time)
