Greetings everyone, in this Video I present some functionalities of some add-ons that I am developing for Archicad, consisting of 9 modules in total, among which the following stand out:
Easy MEP — Streamlines the creation and management of electrical, water supply, and plumbing installations through the automatic creation of dynamic elements.
Easy Dimension — Automates the dimensioning of plans, sections, and elevations, with linear and level dimensions.
Easy Grid — Makes it easy to create structural grids and distribute columns and beams by selecting only the walls.
Easy LayOut — Automatically creates layouts (sheets of paper) from a set of views (plan, section, elevation, detail, etc.). Positions the views, defines the scales (based on the view size or a predefined scale in multiples of 5, such as ESC. 5, 15, 75…).
Easy Data — Centralizes the management of layers, combinations, and properties, with advanced selection filters directly in the Archicad interface.
Easy Image — Combines image editing and render preparation with adjustments for brightness, saturation, cropping, rotation directly in the Archicad interface and preview.
Easy Objects — Allows you to save and reuse sets of objects by associating 3D representations with custom 2D symbols.
Easy Draw — Speeds up drawing and geometric editing with polygons, chamfers, fillets, stretches, matrices, and constraints.
Easy Rename — Simplifies the management of text and IDs, with numbering rules, batch formatting, and change preview.
The video is in Portuguese, but I intend to develop an English version; the problem is that my English isn't very good.

Awesome dude! We will fix Archicad by ourselves. How much will it cost? I was thinking to make my own add-ons as well, but I realised anyone can easily clone most of the functionality.

Yes, indeed. I'm still in the process of analyzing how I can also earn something and thus continue development. I'm considering making some available for free and others commercially, but I'm still analyzing various forums and websites to see if it's viable. I believe I'll have a final decision this week.

Please do develop the english version , you can using AI to translate for you .

Yes, definitely, I'm in that process right now. My native language is Portuguese, but I understand English at an intermediate level, and AI has been helping me a lot with that and with the process of interpreting the Graphisoft API, which I wasn't very familiar with until now.

Hi @Alison_007 , congratulations! The add-ons look really useful, and I hope they get localized into English so I can try them out. I have just one question—if you're able to share—did you use AI tools to create these add-ons (either wholly or in part)?

Hello. Thank you very much for your comment. Yes, I did use AI to some extent, mostly in the process of understanding and integrating the ArchiCAD API and resolving bugs, since I use Open Code Visual Studio. I haven't paid for Pro/Plus models for about 3 months, so I don't know if it would be possible to create them 100% with AI, but from what I've seen created with Claude and GPT Astra, I believe it is possible. The models I use via Open Code, being free, end up having some limitations.

Amazing work @Alison_007 !!
I hope to see English versions of them soon, and as for the instruction video, I believe Youtube should have an Auto-translate function that allows the video to be translated through AI to native language of the person listening that you could use to help you translate them.
It's just a question of whether you like the voice they give you with the translation.
It's sad that we've now been reduced to fixing Archicad ourselves and adding functionality to it that Graphisoft have otherwise been reluctant to themselves for decades now.
Whether it's through the GDL-Addon approach like this or through the MCP-AI route that others are doing, it all boils down to their laziness and our having to do it ourselves.

Thank you very much!
Right, I'll see if I can enable this option. I don't have much experience with YouTube as a Creator, but I'll work on it.
Regarding the language, I'm working on that and on stability so I can release the first RC1 version this week. I was supposed to release it last Sunday, but due to unforeseen work issues I fell far behind. Yes, unfortunately there are many basic things that shouldn't even depend on add-ons, and it's embarrassing to tell someone new to other software that such things don't exist.

Greetings everyone,
I am attaching the first candidate version for release, valid for a maximum of 40 days until next update. I ask that you test and experiment with it, and if you detect any inconsistencies, errors, or even suggestions for improvements, please let me know. Each module (add-on) supports light/dark mode in Portuguese and English, all configurable in the General settings of the Easy BIM Suite. Feel free to contact me here or via email/WhatsApp, available in the General settings of the Easy BIM Suite. Please be aware that this RC1 version is the first public test version and that some inconsistencies may occur, but until then I advise against using it in professional-level projects, only in tests or long-term projects. Currently, the suite is only available for Windows 10/11 x64, in ArchiCAD versions 28, 29, and 30. There is still no version for a Mac version, as I don't have a Mac-based device for certain purposes.
I appreciate everyone's participation in this adventure and I count on your support and participation in the project's development. The general settings and installer include a link to Ko-fi/Paypal as a way to support the project, since the idea is to provide them for free. I also have Easy Engineering and Easy Quantify in early development, and I hope we'll have some results soon.
Known bug: * In certain modules, when I open a compact palette, some visual inconsistency may occur, but I am currently working on resolving this.
Access: Easy BIM Add-Ons – Google Drive to download the installer.

Great! 😀
