Is there an updated Interactive Training Guide for at least ArchiCAD 22 and up?

The interactive training guide for ArchiCAD 15 (both the Experience BIM Massaro House and the Essentials Training Guide) was an invaluable tool for us for training new people to ArchiCAD before. Unfortunately, it is mostly obsolete due to the new updates done to later versions. Do we have a similar Training Module for the newer ArchiCAD versions for us to train new staff? Thanks and more power.

The interactive training guides on the YouTube channel are version 17 and some 21.

So yes, they have been updated a bit - better than 15 at least.

The basics of these still apply now.

Then learn about features of the newer version from the videos about those versions.

The Learn portal has upgrade training guides for 24, 35 & 26.

As well as many courses relating to specific tools.

Solution

No, I am sorry, I don't.

I thought I might have saved them somewhere, but when I looked on my server, the folder is empty.

They suggest a web site in the video intro.

I even found the full link in an old brochure ... graphisoft.com/learning/training-materials/

But that now links to the new learning portal.

You would have to look through the courses there to see what is available.

Have a look at the Archicad Learn portal.

https://graphisoft.com/resources-and-support/learning

Some courses there are free (the more advanced ones are not).

Also look at the Archicad YouTube channel.

https://www.youtube.com/user/Archicad

Not all of it is new, but certainly newer than 15.

There are tool demonstrations and tutorial courses if you look around.

Thanks Barry for the links. I am aware of these, thank you.

I was more looking into the more interactive training guides, like the examples I gave above. I'm guessing Graphisoft did not update those? It was great because it was easy to follow, and the actual PLA/PLN used are provided and directly discussed in the videos included. It also is a singular quick course that starts from scratch until documentation.

Hello Barry,

I was looking at the ArchiCAD playlist that you linked, and for the tutorials named Vol1 thru 4, it says that there is an interactive PDF and file that should e used in conjunction with the videos. Do you still have the link to where we can download these files? Thank you.

Hello Barry,

Thank you for the link, I managed find the files via archive.org.

You've been a great help.

As someone who has been through almost all courses from the Graphisoft Learn platform I highly recommand it.

We use the basic courses as mandatory training for all new employees regardless of how well they know (or think they know) how to use Archicad.

If you have an SSA subscription it opens up a bunch of additional tutorials and e-books.

The BIM Author Program is also pretty well structured and teaches you how to model very thoroughly. The courses also get updated from time to time and older ones get archived. I've noticed they really do their best to keep courses organised and relevant.

There's also the Refference Guide that Archicad constantly updates. It's written and more easily searchable.

We use it a lot whenever we try to explain to each other internally how more complex stuff works in AC.
