Can anyone tell me why I'm getting no colour on my layout/section here? Not quite sure what I'm doing wrong, still a bit new to Archicad.

Have a look at the 'drawing' settings for the drawing you placed on the layout.
What pen set is it set to use?
Barry.

The Pen set is Modelling, I linked an image on the settings when placing a drawing and also what the colour on the section looks like.

Barry meant the settings of your drawing object (ctrl + t) on your layout. Not the settings of your drawings
on this help page look for 'Pen Set'
Intel i9-9900K / 64GB RAM / nVidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

Correct.
You want to look at the 'Drawing' settings and not the 'View' settings.
