Hi,
We are a small California-based architecture/landscape/interior design firm working in Vectorworks and considering taking the leap into ArchiCAD. Notably, we would need someone to help us build an ArchiCAD template that's based off and an improvement from our Vectorworks template. We wanted to see if there are any consultants out there that assist in this type of transition! We would be grateful for any leads.

You could also try Patrick May at https://www.4dproof.com/ and Link at https://www.bim6x.com/. Both are long time users, wonderful people, and experts at Archicad and template development.
Definitely reach out to me. I don't do template customization, but my Shoegnome Open Template (https://shoegnome.com/template/) is available for free (if you want it to be free). I highly recommend you do a project or two with it before committing to having a bespoke template created. I always worry that new users will jump into a customized template that fights Archicad to reproduce old graphics and workflows rather than learning Archicad first then deciding what makes sense to keep and what is worth evolving past.
So much of our graphics are based on what's easy to do, so you want to make sure that your drawings in Archicad match your old Vectorworks drawings in the right way, not the wrong ways.

These are all excellent suggestions. I would like to add my namre to the list as I have been working in this field for quite some time as well. I'd be happy to have a cconversations with you and your team if you are so inclined. Cheers!
