Hi, is anyone else experiencing huge frustration with the new 'scrolling' interface introduced since AC26?
I've been in this environment since AC4.5, nearly 28 years - and I've always found AC to be very fast, very efficient.
I'm now working so much slower due to this new 'improved' scrolling interface for selecting surfaces and fills - it's actually pathetic.
I haven't worked to become fast, only to have the interface throw out a sea anchor and drag me backwards. I've taken to doing most of my work in AC25, because it's faster, and only taking my projects into AC27 if I need to collaborate with others.
And I'm now doing mostly residential, how are large groups dealing with complex commercial projects - they must be crawling along. The use of folders is obvious, but there's another few clicks and selections to slowly navigate that were never needed before. just counterproductive guys.

Can I ask a really stupid question? Are you looking at the dialog box in folder view, not realizing you can change it to list view, almost like it was in the previous versions? Sometimes the smallest things can be hard to see sometimes, so I thought I'd check.

hey Jeff, thanks for the reply, i've not sorted my building materials, surfaces, fills etc into sub-folders, i'd have to spend ages sorting, transferring my 50+ active projects into a new template system.
Whether the new system is set to folder or list view, it's still a lot of scolling.
And i still see the endless scrolling as tediously slow, when it was very very fast. It's also a procedure we do hundreds of times a day.
I've attached the older (AC25) splash screen where eveything was instantly displayed for fast selection, and the new (useless) timewasting scrolling system.
I realise this sounds like a downer, but i think it's pretty rare to see a great system take a backwards step. I'd welcome the option to have either a splash screen for fast selections, or, for the more relaxed, the scrolling interface.
