September Archicad Users Australia event

Thanks to everyone who joined us at the June Archicad Users Australia events in Melbourne and Sydney. It was great to welcome both familiar and new faces, with plenty of discussion and knowledge-sharing across both evenings.

This round focused on Properties & Classifications, Specification System Coding Integration and Work Environment Settings. An interesting outcome of the discussions was that specification system coding quickly evolved into a practical use case for Archicad Properties and Classifications, highlighting just how important a well-structured data strategy is for consistent documentation and downstream workflows.

The Work Environment discussion generated some particularly valuable conversations, with attendees sharing how they configured it to improve Archicad's performance, productivity, and day-to-day usability. It was a great example of the community openly exchanging practical tips that benefit everyone.

It’s also been encouraging to see growing interest from outside Sydney and Melbourne. Over the past few months, we’ve had interest from Perth, Adelaide, and Brisbane, asking how they can become involved. While Archicad Users Australia will remain an in-person community, we’re considering offering a livestream for those who can’t attend, helping more users stay connected and continue learning with the community. Watch this space!

We are now gearing up for our next round of in-person events this September, with upcoming sessions heading to Melbourne and Sydney.
