Dear Community members and especially pet moms & dads,
We are glad to announce a new Community contest: the ArchiPET challenge! We open our gallery to your favorite projects featuring our new Archicad Library objects. This is your chance to showcase your designs and your spot-on use of our expanded library - of course, always with a sparkle of creativity!
Your task is to submit 1–3 views featuring the new 2D people/animals library objects released for Archicad 29, plus a short description (2–3 sentences) explaining how they interact with the space you designed. Why is this space special for them? Optionally, you can include your own pet by uploading a custom image into the object 😼
Format of the image(s): PNG or JPG, minimum 1000 px width.
We encourage users from every region to join our gallery, but please post the description in English. We want to make sure the global community can understand your submission.
Our jury will select the challenge highlights to award:

We got you! If you're rocking Archicad 29, just download the Archicad 29 Library update 1 (A) and install it. The new objects will appear promptly on your Archicad Library. If you don’t want to load the full library update, you can simply load the People package, which includes both people and pets, by downloading the packages zip (B). See detailed steps below. |
Open Archicad → File → Libraries and Objects → Library Manager → Add, then select the packages you're interested in (for example, People)
Once the library is loaded, you can explore the available people and animals directly from the Object tool.
Choose your favorite 2D person or pet and place it into your scene — on a terrace, next to furniture, or interacting with people. The collection is designed to help you quickly add life and character to your model.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the challenge! You will need Archicad version 28 or newer. If you are new to Archicad or do not have an Archicad license, you can get free, 30-day access to Archicad by visiting this page: Try Archicad – Graphisoft. And if you’re a student, you can register for a free student license.

Yes, but the prizes are awarded only to non-Graphisoft employees and partners!
If you can't find the answer to your question here, start a thread on Our Community forum. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Good luck to all challengers. We can’t wait to see your ideas popping in!
