Architect, GDL Object Programmer | Salzburger Planwerkstatt GmbH

For 30 years, Gerhard Hladik has connected GDL programming with architectural planning. After his education at an HTL for electronics & computer science, he studied architecture and realized, already in 1996, the potential of digital building models in Archicad 4.55. Soon, he expanded the early, still-restricted Archicad versions with ambitious GDL objects. This led to his specialized expertise, which is reflected, for example, in the quickArch library. At the moment, he leads an architectural office in Salzburg, Austria, with a focus on BIM Inventory Planning and Participatory Design, as well as the Salzburger Planwerkstatt GmbH, which focuses on the development of GDL objects and wooden bicycle frames.
