Workflow Webinars Ep. 2: Point cloud workflows in Heritage BIM

In the second webinar of our Workflow series, we are excited to welcome as guest presenter Karol Argasiński, Founder and CEO of BIMfaktoria. 

 

Karol’s journey began with a personal interest in preserving monuments and cultural heritage. With his dedication to architectural analyses and laser scan inventory taking, Karol has extensive knowledge in integrating historic preservation with advanced BIM tools like Archicad and PointCab Origins. Karol is also an Academic Lecturer at the Warsaw University of Technology, Research Assistant at the Architecture Institute at the Hochschule Mainz, and a Lecturer at the ZIGURAT Global Institute of Technology. As a co-editor of the BIMe BIM Dictionary and a certified Graphisoft BIM Manager and Archicad Professional, Karol is at the forefront of educating and guiding the AECO industry towards openBIM methodologies.

  • Get the most from point clouds for modelling and data management purposes 
  • Master using point cloud for documentation/archiving purposes and automated drawings using tools like PointCab and Archicad. 
  • Get the most out of the classification in IFC for heritage purposes.
