Enhanced Design Options

Now it’s even easier to manage your changing design and make better decisions.

Introduced in Archicad 27, the Design Options feature has new usability improvements to support your workflow.

More functions at your fingertips in Design Options palette

• Create, rename, delete, and search for Options/Sets directly from the Design Options palette (like in the Manager)

• In Teamwork, reserve palette to access management functions

• Set the default Option and relink elements more easily - with new palette button and context command

 

 

Enhanced Design Options workflows

• Improved Design Options picker in Find & Select, Graphic Overrides, Schedules, plus two new related criteria (Design Option Name, Option Set Name)

• Design Options now shows in Element info tag when you hover over elements

• Elements with missing Design Options are highlighted in color, and trigger a notification in Teamwork projects (activate highlight and set color for invalid elements at: Options > Work Environment > On-Screen Options)
