Keynote Schedule and Placed Keynotes

Other than the wrap text issue, there are three separate additional improvements that are needed to bring the tool in line with the CI Tools version.

  1. The first is the Legend object/schedule. At the bottom of the select fields settings, this needs the option to allow us to 'show highest folder only' or to even select the level of folder we'd like to show. When using a system such as Masterspec's CBI codes, it complicates the schedule breaking each keynote down into its 4-5 digit subfolder if that is the lowest folder. It would make things far clearer if we could select the top hierarchy.

  2. The schedule should only read placed labels. It's impossible to have pre-set keynotes if the only option is either all project keynotes or all on the layout. CI Tools will only schedule placed keynotes in the project, therefor keeping the schedule relevant. It makes absolutely no sense to place every single keynote in the palette into a schedule.

  3. We need an audit function so that we can locate where keynotes have been placed throughout the project. The CI Tools version allows us to find any label in any view or layout when doing QA checks. It also highlights where notes have been altered.

For the big (very small) selling point of AC28, so far this tool is really tracking behind the CI tools plugin that's been out for around 10+ years now.

Beat me to the punch as this was practically my main issue with the keynotes tool/system in AC28.

Hope these changes you are asking gets implemented, as otherwise this new feature won’t be used as much or at all.
