I recently upgraded from the rig in my sig to a Dell G15 5520 Laptop, which is very highly spec'd, but the 2D Drawing Hardware Acceleration is greyed out / disabled.

In the NVIDIA settings

i set the NVIDIA card (RTX 3060) to be the preferred card laptop wide

and set Archicad.exe and Archicad Starter.exe to 'high performance'

to no avail.

Wondering if it's been automatically disabled for some reason?

This laptop is currently on windows home with 16GB DDR5 and an i7 12700H with 512 nVME.

This is by default. Accelaration is enabled.

From help guide:

2D Hardware Acceleration Level

This option is enabled and cannot be turned off (technology serving this is obsolete and will be eliminated in upcoming versions)
