2nd copy of AC 7.0 crashes at start-up in OS 10.3.2

I have tried to install two copies of AC 7.0 r3/v3 on four machines in our office to open files simultaneously. I did this in OS 9 without any problems. We are all running OS 10.3.2 on G4 machines with 768MB RAM. I've installed each copy of AC in separate folders(1 in Applications, 1 in its own folder). The first copy of AC will start and run fine but when trying to start the second copy of AC, it immediately crashes. The only workaround to this I've found is to trash all of the AC preferences and then start both copies of AC without saving anything. Once both AC's are running, I can save and work normally, including quitting and restarting the programs. This works until I restart the computer. Then the second copy of AC crashes at startup.

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone have a solution?

I don't know about AC7, but AC8.1 works fine (with the usual hazards).

We have the same setup and have found it varies from Mac to Mac even when they are running the same version of OSX in this case 10.3.2

One thing that does seem to help is running Disk Utility "Repair Permissions" and MacJanitor. I've found I can then run two copies of AC 7 for a while.

Other glitch is that one of the two ArchiCADs running will "lose" the dongle but I've not found a way round that one.

Here is a link to my Tips page with a link to MacJanitor and instructions on how to repair permissions
