AC10 on older Mac

Eduardo Bell

Hello,

I need to ask if AC10 will run on a 800 MHz Power PC G4 with 768 MB SDRAM running on OSX10.4.5

I understand these specs do not meet the minimum posted requirements, however I need to know if it will install and run, even if at a slower pace.
Thanks

It should install and it should run.

but it will be a bit of a struggle.....

The min system requirements are for 1 GIg processor ,1Gig RAM and a 64Mb card.

What size is the graphics card 32 or 64Mb. the 3d opengl will struggle if it is a large model with lots of polygons, though it should just about cope with small domestic size projects.

No problem at all. See my signature. Renderings may be a bit slow, but not slower than AC9. With Artlantis it works fine, though. But you should max the RAM to what the machine handles, if possible. And a better graphics card (I've got an ATI 9000 Pro with 128 MB VRAM) makes the Open GL engine faster.
