Archicad 26 conversion to Apple Silicon chip

i just updated my Mac and it prompted me to check Archicad because it has an intel chip. I downloaded the apple silicone version but have not installed yet.  Any issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you,

Bill

26 has been running ok in Apple Silicon for the last 3-4 years or so.
There is a bug with the Tracker in the latest version of macOS (26.5) which inserts feet automatically which I don't think will be fixed for 26 since GS only updates the current version (29) and one prior (28).

I can confirm that this Tracker bug is a serious issue, and in my case it affects the basic daily use of Archicad (version 29).

I am working in metric units, and when I try to enter a distance directly in the Tracker, Archicad automatically inserts a comma after the first digit. For example, when I want to type 100, it becomes 1,00. The only way to enter the value correctly is to press Tab first, or to use D/R before typing the number.

Graphisoft has already acknowledged this issue in their support article:
https://support.graphisoft.com/hc/en-us/articles/45719118456465-Archicad-Tracker-inserts-units-autom...

However, the proposed workaround is not a real solution. This is not a minor inconvenience or some advanced feature. It affects one of the most fundamental actions in Archicad: drawing and entering dimensions accurately.

For professional users, this is extremely frustrating. Archicad is now subscription-based and costs a significant amount of money every year. In that context, I think it is reasonable to expect that the basic drawing and input functions work reliably.

I understand that Archicad 26 may no longer be the current version, but this issue also seems to affect newer versions (l use 29), and it is directly related to the normal daily workflow of users on macOS. I really hope Graphisoft treats this as a high-priority bug and provides a proper fix as soon as possible, instead of only suggesting workarounds like Tab, D or R.

It would also be helpful if Graphisoft could clearly communicate whether this bug is officially registered, whether a fix is being developed, and which Archicad versions will receive the fix.

While I understand your frustration, the official communicated strategy is and always has been that only the last 2 versions are supported (both as application and OS). And while 26 is indeed not that old, it does not fit the bill here.

There is no point to reiterate this every time there is a bug.

28 and 29 will receive the fix.

28 is already fixed.
29's Preview is also fixed.
