Happy new year Archicad users - we have built a model in 13 - but eact time try to view the it in 3d we get an error - Curved flag set for body with out any curved Pgon.

We have no flags on our building / model so am slightly confused as to where it has come from or what it means.

Any thoughts ??

Thanks Myles.

Binary search is just a common practice for isolating individuals from large collections. It is the basis for the game of Twenty Questions.

It is funny somehow that things we have always been doing, like narrowing down the source, is the right thing to be doing.

BTW: We are in the process of making "objects" of whole buildings that we designed in the past 8 years, all in the same development. We started in AC8, most of it is in AC12 and finally after some machine upgrades we will able to use our AC16. I have tested a couple of the whole building objects in 16 that we are making through 12, and I am surprised to find that they work well so far. And that is without loading custom objects from past projects.

I assume that you are saving these as binary GDL rather than editable scripts. In the latter case there might be some issues and you would need the libraries loaded for called parts. In the former you have the complete non-parametric model incorporated into the part itself which should have no compatibility issues (going forward anyway) and won't require any added libraries.
