Hi,

Can you be more specific?
What version of Archicad are you using? Does that happen with one specific file or also with a new, empty Archicad file?

Cosmin Furdui - architect @ Wincon
AC 27, running on Windows 11 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700K CPU64, 3.40GHz, 32GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX5060 32GB

Running AC 28 - I believe it is one file only but it is continuous - no matter how many times I reboot.  Thanks for your interest.

You can try to open an empty Archicad, then go to file - open, select "Open & Repair selected file", and open your (allegedly) corrupted file:

So it sounds like you need to figure out what is in that file that is causing the problem.

By legend, I am guessing you mean schedule.

If so, duplicate it and start removing fields or criteria to see if there are any improvements.

What elements are in the source view that cause it to freeze?

Try looking at those elements individually.

Work on a copy of your file so it doesn't matter if you destroy it.

Try opening the file with the 'Open & Repair' option to see if that fixes anything.
