CursorUIViewService keeps crashing, causing text lag when caps lock is on

When I upgraded my macOS to Sequoia (15.7.2) I started having text lag when the caps lock is on.  I obviously have caps lock on most of the time when creating construction docs, so this is quite annoying.  

I've found through my Activity Monitor that the CursorUIViewService keeps "not responding".  If I force quit this process the issue goes away, however, it restarts and crashes again soon after.  

Anyone else have this issue?  It is only when using ArchiCad and not other applications, so there seems to be some sort of conflict there with Sequoia.  

Any suggestions on a solution?
