I've noticed AC25 crashing frequently when closing any tabs (including Action Center) since updating to macOS Monterey v12.3 yesterday. The only way I've found to reduce (but not eliminate) the crashing is to go to a plan view and then use Window > Close All Other Tabs and Windows. I've tried opening my PLN with the repair option as well as cleaning my preferences but neither of these approaches have helped. I've submitted a bug report with every single crash. Here's the latest Bug ID: AC25-2022-03-15-12-13-27-8871
Any suggestions?

AC24 (on macOS Monterey 12.3) also crashes when closing tabs. So, in essence, the only two versions of Archicad that were compatible with macOS Monterey are now buggy after the 12.3 macOS update.

Workaround: Don't click on the closing "X". Don't hover over the closing "X". Use menu command "Close All Other Tabs and Windows" (as stated in initial post). Use Command-3, Command-2 etc. to change tabs.

Or turn the tab bar off completely?
That way you can't accidentally click any of the tabs.
Then either unlock the view windows and arrange them as you want, or use the WINDOWS menu to select the view you want.
Old school might be the best way for now.
Barry.

Interesting. I hadn't noticed that hovering cursor over the closing X also caused a crash.
Great suggestion Barry. Thank you. I'll give that a try. (Windows menu > Hide Tab Bar)

Dear All,
Thank you very much for the reports and notifications so far!
At the moment, our developers are actively working on it. More details can be found here: Archicad crashes on macOS 12.3 when closing a tab with the Tab Bar.
Thank you once again for your help and understanding!
Best regards,
Minh
