The info in inadequate but I guess you mean the NVidia GeForce 9800 GT card. This will be easier for people to answer.

I assume Laszlo's interpretation is the right one! 😉
I have NVidia GeForce 9600 GT, bought an year ago. It works just fine - 1920/1200 res on a 24" ViewSonic.

There is one in a friends rig (Q6600, Gf 9800 GT and 4gb ddr2-800) and it ROCKS (FAST) AC and anything else CAD they do. Possible the fastest card I've seen so far. I don't think you can get better unless you fork over 4-5x as much money, for 5-15% improvement in movie rendering studio work (Vray?). they're using a 32" monitor at 1920x1200 without issues. It is for sure faster than my 7900GT, and faster than our 4750 ATI, amazingly (the ATI is a hair-drier; runs super hot).

Yeah, 8800-9600-9800, most use the same GPU. Read up on it if you're really into tech stuff. SOME of the GPU's (r89?) had some issues, but the new 9800 GT's and newer have fixed that....

Really fast card for sure.
