Could someone please tell me if I upgrade my pc to run windows 7 64 bit then install Archicad 14 64 bit and Artlanitis Studio 64 bit, will I be able to take my Work in progress file from my 32 bit versions of Archicad and Artlantis into the 64bit versions without any issues? They are all educational versions.
I am doing this as My Archicad 14 32 bit has started showing me an error message, that i have not enough memory and to upgrade to 64 bit.
I have 8gb ram and a good 3d card and quad core processor, i think what is letting me down is my 32 bit version of windows.
Hi Nick - we have made the change in our office recently from 32 bit to 64 bit, but the process is being staged, so at the moment we have users on both with no problems. Bear in mind this is with the commercial version, but I doubt there'd be any differences.
We are still using artlantis 32bit though - Artlantis 64 bit is only available as an Alpha version, so I can't comment on this one.
