I recently downloaded Archicad 29, and I would like to use the template I created in Archicad 27. I tried opening the template file in Archicad 29, but when I checked the Library Manager, there was no Archicad 29 library package loaded. How can I correctly update or link the Archicad 29 libraries so that my Archicad 27 template works properly in the new version?

Archicad 28 introduced a completely new Library system. Any Favourites you have in your template will need to be replaced with the new Library parts from the libpack Libraries. There is a tool available to do this for you on the website.
Any placed objects you have from the Library will need to be replaced within the template.
This can all be done but takes time. It’s worth doing. I upgraded our template when 28 was released.
I’m sure there is a guide on the website. I’ll see if I can find it.
The monolithic Library is still available and has to be downloaded separately from the website. It’s basically just a copy of the Archicad 27 one and will receive no updates.

Look through the first 5 posts on this page (assuming you see it the same as I do, they should all be posts from Graphisoft explaining the new Library system).

The Favourite Converter and Monolithic Library can be found here.

You will need to change to your localisation if different.
