Is Intel Iris Xe good enough for Archicad?

Hi everyone,

My Archicad is running a bit slow and i started thinking maybe is because i dont have a strong graphics card even though the .pnl file has only 353mb of data.

My pc is ASUS VivoBook, 16gb RAM, Core i7 11th generation, 500gb SSD, Intel Iris Xe.

Thank you in advance.

Generally, Graphisoft does not recommend integrated graphics cards with Archicad because of bad experiences. This article talks about video cards:

What you could do is find a friend how has a similarly strong laptop but with dedicated graphics card instead of integrated, and install Archicad on it to see if you see performance improvements. Then you will see if you should be using a dedicated graphics card or the issue is caused by something else. But generally, a dedicated graphics card is a much better idea.
