I use a logitech mx1000
logitech setpoint software can be a little limited, the uberOption mod adds a heap more features. Only works for Windows as far as I am aware.
But allows you to set button controls to certain applications. You can bind pretty much any archicad command to any button, etc

The setpoint software/driver is a disaster on a Mac. It even causes kernel panic and random shutdowns. One of the reasons we are discussing USB OD here, just FYI.

I have never found Logitech to be particularly Mac-friendly.
