Memory problem?

Hello,

Since days I can't use ArchiCAD, as I start to draw I get the following error message:

C:\Program Files\GRAPHISOFT\ArchiCAD 17\ArchiCAD.exe
Szabad hely az ideiglenes mappában (Free space in the temporary folder) : 127690.1 MB
...................................................
OpenGL ATI Technologies Inc. ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
A számítógép OpenGL meghajtója valamennyi szükséges kiegészítőt támogatja.
Vertical Sync: OFF
Z buffer: 24 bits
Per Pixel Lighting: ON, 1.50
Stencil buffer: 8 bits
...................................................
A memória megtelt! (Memory is full!)

I find it inaccurate, as you can see there is plenty of free space available. I've even tried to set the temporary folder on another partition without success, the same thing happened. Does anybody know how I could handle it? The PC specifications are nothing special, with 4 GB of RAM.

Thank you for your help in advance!

This is an ArchiCAD issue ... and has nothing to do with your actual computer memory.

Hello Karl,

Thank you for your response, however I've visited all the links you sent, I've not found any solution. If it is an ArchiCAD issue, is there anything I could do? Reinstallation haven't helped either.

Reinstallation will not help this error. It is an issue within your model (99% sure).

If you start a fresh file do you have any problems creating walls, etc? If not, then you'll need to 'divide and conquer' - display half the elements in your existing file with the error and see if you get the error. If not, then the issue is in the other half. If so, then divide that half in half and continue. But, the links suggest that the issue is most likely some polygonal form such as mesh, slab, roof, etc that has been re-shaped.

This one makes me so angry.... Not planned to be fixed until 18?

I'm stuck in a loop and the only way I can figure out of it is force quit and start over... It's B.S.
