Migrating a project to another language version of Archicad.

Hi

I'd like to migrate a project (small-ish, single family house) from AC 26 International to 26 Swiss French.

What would be the best method?

Thanks, Alexandre

The different language versions of Archicad will not translate the plans.

You will just have the INT file open in the Swiss version.

There is nothing really to migrate - just open the file in the other language software.

The biggest problem will be with the libraries.

The INT version library may or may not be compatible with the Swiss/French version library.

The only way to find out is to give it a try.

When you swap the libraries, if there are 'Missing' objects, you will have 2 choices.

Find those missing objects and replace them with what they should be.

Or delete the Swiss/French libraries and load the INT ones again - but of course they will be in English.

All text in the plans, you will have to translate yourself if you need to.
