Mobility Radeon 9000 Problems?

Does anyone know if there are any compatibility problems with the ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 video driver and AC 8.1? I keep getting screen freezes that crashi the whole system. Windows thinks it's the driver. I did update it when this first started happening, but it's continuing.

I use them on my Sager laptop with the same video as you have.
People seem to be having good results with these.
