Hi I dont know much about archicad because I dont use it but the company I work for does. (I work in the IT department) Anyways I have this problem were v10 drawings are opening in v8.1. And I dont have a clue why. I cant change default program in the file properties.
So I was wonder whether anyone on here knows whats going on.
thanks

Always open the program first (the right version) and then use the File> Open menu command from the program.

You haven't posted platform, version info etc in your signature.
On the Mac at least a document double-clicked always opens in the last installed or updated program version. In your case, 8.1 has got that label from the O/S.
You could uninstall 8.1. Or re-install the latest version (insert CD and Repair would do, maybe). Perhaps just installing the latest hotfix will do it.
