Unique latin characters appear as ? in index (US version)

I am using US 20 version, but sometimes I have Hungarian related jobs. I noticed that the sheet index shows ? instead of the characters with the Hungarian umlauts (Ő Ű), others are fine as they are used in more languages (ú, ó, ö, ü etc.) What is strange is that they show normally everywhere else: layout map, layout itself with the autotext.
Changing font type doesn't help. Is there any solution to this? Is this an ArchiCAD or a system problem?

(I noticed that if I replace the question mark in the index with either ő or ű it appears fine, up until I reopen the index.)
