I just bought a new laptop:
CUSTOM NOTEBOOK, MSI MS-1722 (GX720) Core2 Performance Notebook, 17" WUXGA/WSXGA+ TFT LCD, NVIDIA. GeForce. 9600M GT 512MB Graphics
MICROSTAR, MS-172226-003 (GX720) Core 2 Duo Notebook Barebone, Socket P, Intel. GM45, 17" TFT WUXGA TFT Matte, SATA, BT, Integrated NVIDIA. GeForce. 9600M GT Graphics
INTEL, Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz Processor, 1066MHz FSB, 3MB L2 cache, 25.0W, 45nm, Retail
KINGSTON, 4GB (2 x 2GB) HyperX PC2-6400 DDR2 800MHz SDRAM SODIMM, CL5 (5-5-5-18), Non-ECC
WESTERN DIGITAL, 320GB Scorpio. Black WD3200BEKT, 7200-RPM, 16MB cache, 2.5-Inch, SATA 3 Gb/s, OEM
Which I thought would be more than sufficient to run ArchiCAD 11 with Win XP Pro 64 bit, but I am having issues in 3D with rotating and viewing my model in OpenGL.
It works just fine on my desktop:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+
3.00 GB of RAM
GeFore 7600 GS
Win XP Pro 64 bit
Where did I go wrong on the laptop? I have the latest NVIDIA drivers and have been checking their user forums for answers as well. Any thoughts or suggestions? I am I missing some kind of additional setting that will improve performance?
