My colleagues computer is built as follows:
MOTHERBOARD - Abit KV8 pro socket 754
CPU - AMD Athlon64 3000+
MEMORY - 1gb ballistix 2x512mb (ALL SLOTS TAKEN)
VIDEO - ATI FireGL X2 PRO 256mb AGP
HARD DRIVE1 - 36gb ST336753LC SCSI HD (50% free)
HARD DRIVE2 - 18GB MAJ3182mp
DRIVE - dvdrw
She has worked in AC 9 and AC 10 on it without problem, in those versions, openGL worked fine.
After installing 11, the machine crashed repeatedly, hotfixes and all. It wouldn't even open a new project. I didn't want to reinstall it again until i got some feedback as to what the problem might be. The other machines in the office are running fine on 11, so i'm at a loss.
I didn't see the graphics card listed anywhere in the Database, but I'm not that savy about the nuances of the different cards.
Any suggestions?
