Wireframe objects

Greetings,
I'm experiencing new placed casework objects showing up as wireframe in the 3D view. During rendering they disappear altogether. The objects show up just fine on the floor plan view. I've never had this problem. I started on V11 and am now on V24.
Any thoughts?

In the layer settings see if you have clicked the "house" icon to show as wireframe

Thank you Thomas. That fixed it. It seems that some of these issues can happen without knowing that a particular button had been pushed.
