archicad crush

this is my first year in an architecture school they teach us autocad but i've seen some archicad tutorials and i think it's faster and better than autocad

so i installed archicad but didn't work
each time i open archicad it crush
i'don't know what's the problem i tried reinstalling but didn't work
this is the first time i'll use archicad so i'don't know what to do

i have a very good PC working on a windows XP 64 bit

PC:
-320gb hard drive
-4gb ram 667mhz
-processor E6750 core2duo
-graphical card HD2600pro with 1gb ram
