When I try to install ArchiCAD 21, on the window to choose the installation folder, whichever location I choose in my mac hardest it says "The path you have entered is invalid. Please select another destination".
Current free disk space is showing as zero.
Maybe that is the problem?
Or maybe you do not have the correct user permissions?

There is about 20 gb free space on that disk, can't figure out why it reads it as that...
And I haven't found any similar issue on several forums around the internet. It happens to me with every version of archicad I've tried to download.
Yes I am logged in with an administrative account (I have no other accounts activated in my laptop). My mac is running High Sierra, could that have anything to do with the issue?
Hello, I’m trying to install Archicad 21 on my Macbook Pro with MacOS Sierra, but whenever I get to folder selection screen no matter which folder I select I get this message:
“The path you have entered is invalid. Please select another destination”
And it also says that I have 0kb of free disk space, which of course isn’t true.
I’m running as admin, don’t know really what to do.
Anyone have an idea of what might be happening?
Thanks!!
caballeroge,
I have merged your post with this one as it is obviously the same problem.
Sorry I have no solution for you as I am not a Mac user and my other suggestion earlier obviously was not correct.

I contacted GS HQ and they told me this is because the name of the system volume is either black or it is a SPACE character. If you look at the screenshot you can see that there is a SPACE before the first colon in the path.
This apparently confuses the installer and it gives this error message.
Please modify the name of the system volume and see if that solve the problem.
