AC door slab sizes vs frame height

ok, this has bothered me for years but now i really need to figure this out. standard AC27 library door. this may be unreasonable, but i would like to have the door slab actually be somewhat like real world door. i have selected a standard 6'8 high door slab and if i measure the slab in section, it is 6'8, however, that is measured from the insertion point. this is an exterior door, so it has a threshold, no matter how thick, (or tall), i make it the slab remains stuck to the bottom of the jamb. it doesn't change the unit height as it would in the real world. so as far as i can tell, the only way to fix this is to make the slab taller, hence making the frame or unit bigger, in order to get the frame to be the correct size and have opening heights correct, jamb heads line up with windows etc. but now i have to mess around with the label, because of course that will be wrong. not to mention that the threshold detail is simply nothing like real world so is absolutely useless for generating details. interior doors suffer the same issue. if i want the heads to be at the correct elevation and have correct slab size i need to elevate the door, which is fine in plan, but not an option is section or elevation is it? we can chose between three jamb styles, but have no option to choose threshold styles? even if we can't why does it not even come close to reality? is there a work around for this frustrating flaw?
