Accessories - Roof Profiler

In v9 and earlier there was an Accessories tool which allowed you to select a roof plane and attach to it a roof surface like corrugated metal. It could automatically read the roof pitch and location and "mount" this new surface on top. I see where I can download an old Accessories Add-On but I can't figure out how to access it with v12. Does anyone know how to accomplish such a thing now? I need a corrugated metal roof.

You can access it via Design > Design Extras > Accessories.
It's very helpful to go to Options > Add-on Manager. There you can find a list with all the available add-ons. If you select one of them and then go to Add-on Info tab, you will see details about it, such as <<Locations in the user interface>>; also you will be able to see if the add-on has been successfully loaded.

There's a very recent thread on this... I wanted my Roof Surfacer back, too!


You'll need to download TWO files from Graphisoft's site and execute both, then everything will work.

Go back a week or two in this forum. My original thread was titled "Roof Surfacer gone is AC12?" or something to that affect. The super-users gave me full notes on installation.
