Additional surface catalogue for 28

Barry Kelly

Is there going to be a library package for addition surface catalogue for version 28 SSA/Forward/subscription users?

When I try to download the additional surfaces the browser says catalogue page can not be found.

Yes, Thank you for pointing out the difference between using .lcf and .libpack file.

Thanks for the help @Barry Kelly but how do WE get all the surfaces from that libpack to the project? WE can only do this one by one by creating a new surface from catalog. No idea on how to do it all at once?

Thanks

I think it has to be done one surface at a time through the surface settings dialogue.

However if you open the 'Edit GDL library Parts' tool bar, there is an option to 'Import all surfaces from catalogue'.

Does that do what you want - there will be a lot.

Maybe do this in a new file.

It seems to replace all existing surfaces and associated fills with new ones.

You would then have to 'Append' these to your existing file.

I did something similar... From the developer tools used the "import all catalog surfaces" and it forced all the surfaces linked to the actual file. So instead of mixing it all up, I did like you said, new file, and imported all those surfaces and then added them to my template, also linked. Thanks for the help @Barry Kelly !

Cheers
