Adjustable double hung window

Anyone use a double hung window where the height of the top and bottom sashes can be adjusted independently of the opening height? (eg a 1/3 to 2/3 top sash to bottom sash ratio) I've tried fiddling w/ gdl with some success, but more frustration..

I believe it can be done with WindowMaker, but if you aren't that picky, the metal awning window is right there and can be completely adjusted.......
