Hi all! Is anyone having issues with missing library objects when opening with Windows version of AC a .pln file created with Mac version of AC? Or viceversa. I have never been having this problem before. I think it is related with the new libpack library format. Or maybe it arose after upgrading to 28.1.1. I know I can use .pla format in order to include all required objects from one platform and loading them from the other platform, but I think this is a cumbersome workaround since it makes the file much larger than .pln, it makes the process slower and most of all it breaks the link with the official library library (after all, .pla format is intended for archiving or external sharing).
I have also successfully verified that objects GUIDs are exactly the same for some objects in Mac and Windows AC versions.
The attached image shows the kind of error I get when opening a Mac-created file in Windows, that I seem unable to overcome.
Any hints? Thank you

Hi Barry,
thanks for your hint. In fact, that was exactly the problem! On my Mac I had Library Update 2 installed while on WIndows I had a previous library version (presumably Library Update 1). Installing LU2 turned out to fix my issue. Thanks a lot!

There should be no compatibility issues that I know of.
Can you check on both systems that the door and window library pack is the same size?
I am assuming the files will be the same size on both systems.
And something I just thought of.
There have been 2 library updates since release of 28.
Maybe one has been updated and the other hasn't?
I know there are some new door objects, but this shouldn't have affected the standard door and window.
As with program updates, installing the latest one (library update 2) will install all of the previous updates as well.
Barry.
